Heerak Christian Kim has performed with the Let Freedom Ring Choir at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in 2019 and 2020 as a way to celebraate to life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unfortunately, in 2021, due to COVID-19, there are no performances at The Kennedy Center.

2020 Chinese New Year Celebration
Heerak Christian Kim made history at Georgetown University by organizing the biggest Chinese New Year Celebration in the history of Georgetown University. Georgetown University's premier singing groups, GraceNotes and SuperFoods, performed. Maryland 2nd District Congressional Candidate Genevieve Morris spoke at the celebration.

Belgium Embassy Invited GCDI
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium invited members of Georgetown Collaborative Diplomacy Initiative (GCDI) for an exclusive visit to the embassy. As the President of GCDI, Heerak worked hard to create cultural understanding to help Georgetown University students establish lasting multicultural ties that can help them.

Chinese Full Moon Harvest 2019
As the President of Georgetown Collaborative Diplomacy Initiative (GCDI), Heerak worked hard to build cultural understanding by organizing Chinese Full Moon Festival in September 2019 that brought together Chinese nationals and citizens around the world at Georgetown University who had interest in learning more about Chinese culture.
